Our Vision and Mission

In an age in which artificial intelligence is becoming a powerful force shaping knowledge, consciousness, and decision-making, the question is not only what these systems are capable of doing, but also how far they can be trusted. Artificial intelligence systems may make mistakes, generate false information, and sometimes provide answers that are not faithful to factual reality.

Today, AI systems sometimes make errors, fabricate information, and respond with confidence even when they lack a solid factual basis. Moreover, it is becoming increasingly clear that advanced systems may develop patterns of behavior involving deception, concealment, or the adaptation of their answers in order to achieve particular objectives.

The challenge extends beyond technical error. As with centers of informational power in both the past and the present, the world of artificial intelligence also faces the danger of concentrated control over knowledge, the distortion of facts, the concealment of information through censorship, and the “crowning of narratives” that do not necessarily reflect a fuller, more balanced, and more objective picture of reality.

There is therefore a moral, scientific, and civic need to place Truth at the heart of the development of artificial intelligence systems. This means consistently investing in the training, oversight, testing, and evaluation of these systems in order to strengthen their reliability, accuracy, transparency, and commitment to objective Truth to the greatest extent possible.

Alongside Truth, EMET AI also seeks to promote other fundamental values that should guide the future of artificial intelligence: freedom, justice, and compassion.

We believe that worthy technology is not merely more powerful or more intelligent, but also more faithful to Truth, to life, and to morality.
